Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique

The Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) is the main fundamental research organization in Europe and is largely involved in national, European, and international projects covering all fields of knowledge. CNRS is organized in 1.211 laboratories, either intramural or in partnership with universities, other research organizations or industry. The present project will be managed by the Regional Office N°10 of CNRS which is fully experienced in this field with dedicated staff in legal, financial and administrative issues. The Camba team at UDS is made of researchers that are also lecturers, with experience in knowledge transfer, not only through classes, but also through symposia and conferences such as the Nutrhi.net symposium that Camba held in Strasbourg in 2012. Since researchers involved in TRAFOON project are employees of University of Strasbourg, University of Strasbourg is third party in the project with the application of clause 10.

TRAFOON Successful Open Innovation case:

Dirfis Mushrooms in close collaboration with scientists from the University of Hohenheim (Stuttgart) Germany developed dried mushroom products, naturally-enriched with vitamin D in a sustainable way using a innovative solar drying technology.
