Federation of European Aquaculture Producers

The Federation of European Aquaculture Producers (FEAP) is the European Federation of National Associations responsible for professional fish farming, composed of 28 Associations from 22 European States. Founded in 1969 in France, FEAP represents producers responsible for 1.6 million tons of production, worth more than €3 billion ex-farm. Active in European representation for the sector, FEAP is a member of the EC Advisory Committee for Fisheries and Aquaculture, has liaison status with the FAO and cooperates with the International Union for the Conservation of Nature on the sustainable development of aquaculture. FEAP organises at least 2 meetings/year with its membership and publishes an annual report on European fish farm production and developments.

Dirfis Mushrooms in close collaboration with scientists from the University of Hohenheim (Stuttgart) Germany developed dried mushroom products, naturally-enriched with vitamin D in a sustainable way using a innovative solar drying technology.
