The Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI) is an international consultancy firm with offices in Portugal, Spain, the United States, China, an affiliated office in Brussels and operations in a wide range of countries. SPI’s mission is the management of projects that foster innovation, entrepreneurship and promote international opportunities. In fulfilling its mission, SPI has created competences in different areas which include: mapping of research and innovation systems, development of strategies and policy dialogue, dissemination, training and training needs assessment, and program and project evaluation. Dirfis Mushrooms in close collaboration with scientists from the University of Hohenheim (Stuttgart) Germany developed dried mushroom products, naturally-enriched with vitamin D in a sustainable way using a innovative solar drying technology.
