The TRAFOON Training Workshops on fish will take place at the Hotel Jaskólka, Ustron on September 15. On September 16, the second day of the workshop will be held at the Institute of Ichthyobiology and Aquaculture in Golysz. The aim of the workshop is to analyze the current situation in the identification of innovation needs in the fishery sector, in terms of flow of information between science and practice and to attempt to identify solutions which should improve the transfer of information and knowledge. The language of the Workshop will be Polish.

The TRAFOON Training Workshops on fish will take place in the Agricultural Advisory Centre in Radom, Poland. The Workshop is organized for the inland fish producers, processors and farmers, which use traditional methods of production and processing. The aim of this Workshop is to present an information on the possibilities of undertaking action in fish farms to expand their product offer and obtain additional incomes. The lectures will provide both an introduction to the discussion and deeper analysis of the issues discussed. There will be also practical exercises. The number of participants is limited. The language of the Workshop will be Polish.

Training Workshop on Olives in Spain
Under the European project TRAFOON, the Andalusian Agency of Knowledge in collaboration with the Institute of Agricultural and Fisheries Research and CITOLIVA is organizing a training Workshop aimed at SMEs producing table olives and olive oil, which will be held on the 8th and 9th June 2016 in Cordoba (Spain).
The aim of this Workshop is to promote knowledge transfer in the olive sector and its products, considered traditional food products which are an essential part of the gastronomic heritage in Spain. Thus, technical solutions, methodologies and best practices will be presented in the areas of agriculture, industrial processing and marketing of interest to producers.
The Workshop is divided into different tables-colloquium in which some experts on each subject will provide the attendees their vision and the latest developments and technological advances, leaving time for questions and issues that may arise between participants and speakers. Therefore, this event is a unique opportunity for companies producing olive oil and table olives to facilitate the incorporation of new technologies and know-how that make their business more competitive in the global market.
Participation at this conference is free of charge. Documentation, meals and visits scheduled on the agenda are included. The number of participants is limited. The language of the Workshop will be Spanish.
